Creating a Gradient Spectrum Pattern In Illustrator

This tutorial came as a request from one of the CSS’s Facebook fans who wanted to know how to create the spectrum pattern in the background of the current CSS website.

In this tutorial you will create using the:

Shapes tool
Blend tool
Artwork recoloring tool (CS3 and newer only)
Gradient tool
Custom swatch palette
