This tutorial came as a request from one of the CSS’s Facebook fans who wanted to know how to create the spectrum pattern in the background of the current CSS website.
This tutorial was inspired by a website I designed and built for my client at www.locallygrownart.com. He was looking for a simple way to edit his own site including updating content, adding new articles and pages. I found a practical and integrated solution using Dreamweaver to create a templated website and Adobe Contribute as a very simple interface for clients to edit their site without knowing any HTML code. Note: your clients will have to purchase (199.00) and install Adobe Contribute on their computer.
In this tutorial you will learn:
How to save a HTML document as a Dreamweaver template
How to set editable, repeating, and non-editable regions in the template
How to create a new HTML webpage document from your template in Dreamweaver and Contribute
